Czech Seed Bead 11/0 Cut Opaque Medium Dark Green Hank

Elevate your beadwork with the sophisticated sparkle of our Czech Seed Bead 11/0 Cut Opaque Medium Dark Green Hank. Known to artisans as "Charlotte Cuts," these beads are a testament to the master craftsmanship of Preciosa Ornela. Featuring a single precision-polished facet on each bead, they provide a rhythmic, "shimmering" effect that breathes life and movement into even the most solid color palettes.

Product Overview

The Opaque Medium Dark Green finish offers a lush, forest-inspired hue that provides total color coverage, ensuring your thread choice remains invisible. The "Cut" refers to the traditional Czech technique of grinding a single flat surface onto each round bead. This allows the bead to catch the light at every angle, creating a subtle "flash" that differentiates it from standard round seed beads. In the versatile 11/0 size, these beads are the gold standard for high-end jewelry and traditional regalia.

Key Features

• Authentic Charlotte Cut: A single facet provides a sophisticated, jewelry-like shimmer without the bulk of multi-faceted beads.

• Rich Forest Palette: A saturated, medium-dark green that evokes the natural depth of emeralds or evergreen pine.

• Precision Uniformity: Crafted in the heart of Bohemia to ensure consistent shape and size (approx. 2.1mm), allowing for flawless alignment in technical stitches.

• Ready-to-Use Hank: Delivered pre-strung on multiple strands, making it effortless to manage the beads and slide them directly onto your needle for a faster workflow.

The Power of the Faceted Cut

The Faceted Cut is the secret weapon for artists who want their work to "glow" from within. Because the flat facet breaks the rounded surface of the glass, these beads lay flatter and closer together than standard rounds. This makes them the premier choice for Bead Embroidery and Loom Weaving, where a smooth, fabric-like finish with a touch of professional glitter is desired.

Creative Applications

• Traditional Regalia: A classic choice for creating vibrant geometric patterns and high-definition outlines in Indigenous beadwork.

• Nature-Inspired Artistry: The perfect shade for depicting lifelike leaves, mossy textures, and botanical motifs with added dimension.

• Statement Jewelry: Design sophisticated fringe earrings and multi-strand necklaces that glisten subtly as the wearer moves.

• Vintage Restoration: The 11/0 cut is an ideal match for repairing mid-century beaded handbags and heirloom jewelry that requires a specific "vintage flash."

Pro Tip: To maintain the brilliant polish of the cut facets, clean your finished pieces with a soft, dry cloth. With a generous 20-gram weight, this hank provides a substantial volume of beads to fuel your next large-scale masterpiece or a series of matching accessories.
